About Christina
My specialty is creative location photography for advertising and editorial clients. I'm inspired by diverse disciplines and draw on movement, art, documentary and fashion influences to create bold, compelling images that emphasize authenticity of the experience. Recognizing that authenticity is complex, I bring a fresh perspective to each project to create a true connection with the viewer through attention to details. With extensive pre-production work, each project is planned according to the message of the brand, the campaign or the story, while still allowing opportunities for spontaneity during production. As a result, I'm able to successfully work with a wide range of clients, capturing the essential experience unique to each project.
I find inspiration in travel, art and culture, chaotic cities and the beautiful outdoors. I've lived and traveled throughout Europe, North America and beyond, and have now set down roots in beautiful Boulder, Colorado with my husband Andy. In my free time, I write a contemporary art blog (www.dbartnews.com) and enjoy yoga, cycling, hiking, snowboarding and climbing, while forever secretly planning my next surf trip.
